Trick Or Treat! (A Fun Blog Hop!)

Welcome to the Trick or Treat Blog Hop! I am so excited to share one of my "tricks" of the trade and a special "treat" with you. At the end of this post, you can enter to win one item ($10.00 value or less) from my store.

This blog hop runs from October 24 until October 31. You have one week to get your tricks and treats. I will choose a winner for the free item from my store on November 1.

First, you get your trick...

I actually learned about my "trick" on Instagram last summer. I had been struggling with how to organize my task cards, flash cards, and word wall cards when someone posted this beauty:

This is a photo box that has 16 separate compartments. It is perfect for organizing all of your cards!

I love that the containers are clear. I can easily find which cards I'm looking for without having to spend time searching. In fact, I love this photo case so much that I bought a second one for home to organize all of my planner/ paper supplies!

You can find these amazing organizers at Michael's. They normally cost $39.99, but they go on sale for $19.99 ALL THE TIME! If you have an additional coupon, you can get it for less than $20 with tax. It's a win-win for your wallet and your classroom!

Now for your treat...

I am so excited to give you your "treat!"

These fall themed multiplication word problems task cards can be found here. This set is not in my store. You get it first! This file includes 12 task cards, a students response sheet, and an answer key. You can use it for small group instruction or in a learning center.

I just love the colorful background of these task cards. My kiddos do too! They are more likely to stay focused on (and try to complete) an assignment that is visually pleasing than a copy of a worksheet.

I hope you enjoyed your trick and your treat! As an added bonus, I'm also hosting a giveaway. The winner will get to choose one item (up to $10 in value) from my Teachers Pay Teachers store. Good luck!

{WOO HOO! We have a winner! Congratulations Kathy Illingworth!}
a Rafflecopter giveaway

Don't forget to keep on Trick or Treating! You'll know you've completed the hop when you get back to my store. (Remember: the blog hop will be active until October 31, so don't feel as if you have to get all your goodies in one sitting!)

Happy Hopping!

  1. I love the photo case. Michael's says it is 4"x6". That sounds small. I'm thinking that they mean each compartment is 4x6. Your photo seems bigger.

    1. You're correct, Ronnie. Each of the 16 compartments is 4" x 6". They are also deep enough that you can put a lot in each compartment. I think this is the best thing I've purchased in a while!

  2. Well, you won me over. I added one of those photo cases to my Amazon cart! They look perfect. I probably need a couple for home stuff too.
    Thanks

  4. Hello?! Why had I not heard about this great task card storage/organization system? I think I would have needed at least three of these in my classroom. Yep, I'm a bit of a task card freak! ;)

Thank you for linking up at my first Teaching Tuesday link up party. I shared this post on Pinterest, so I hope you see a little traffic from it. And I would love to see you back again next week with a new post!
