Winner Wednesday: Short Vowels Roll and Read Games

Hey, y'all! I am so excited to link up with A Dab of Glue Will Do and Sara J Creations to bring you Winner Wednesday! Every first Wednesday of the month a winner will be chosen to win a product from my TpT store.

This month I'm giving away one of my best sellers: Short Vowels Roll and Read games! There are three game boards for each vowel. The first game board is for practicing short vowel CVC words. The second game board helps students practice short vowel nonsense words. The third game board includes a mixture of short vowel words and nonsense words. That means there are 15 games boards in all! All you need to play is a die.

Students can play these games by themselves or with a partner. I love this activity because it is easy to differentiate based on each individual student's needs. Also, these games are a quick way to assess letter sound fluency.

These game boards were designed in black and white so you can save your color ink. You can print it on color card stock and laminate so you can use it year after year. Next year I plan on color coding each vowel so students have an easier time finding the game boards they want to work with.
