Happy Wednesday! I am so excited to link up with A Dab of Glue Will Do and Sara J Creations to bring you Winner Wednesday! Every first Wednesday of the month a winner will be chosen to win a product from my TpT store.
This month I'm giving away one of my favorite products: Prime and Composite "Slap It!" Differentiated Game! It's an engaging and simple way for students to practice identifying prime and composite numbers.
Directions: Have one player shuffle the deck and deal all of the cards face down. No one should look at the cards. Each player takes turns flipping the top card off their stack and placing the card in the center. If the card is a prime number, the first player to slap the card gets all of the cards in the middle of the pile. If a player slaps a composite number, the other player gets the cards in the center. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins!
This file come with number cards from 1-200. This activity can be differentiated by giving groups of students different numbers to work with based on their needs. (For example: Most of the students in my fourth grade math collab class worked with numbers 1-100. I gave the numbers 1-50 to my students who are struggling with this concept. My students who needed to be challenged got numbers 1-200.)
Update: Congratulations, Tina B.! You won!
I love this !
